Our 24-volt 500-watt motor, 5-pin controller, and throttle kit is an all-in-one solution to rejuvenating an older eZip, Izip, or other Currie- electric scooter.
24 Volt 500 Watt Electric Motor with 11 Tooth #25 Chain Sprocket (Currie Technologies)
This brush-type motor is manufactured by Currie. Upgrade your stock 180W or 250W motor with a genuine Currie high-performance motor kit. Dramatically increase low-end torque and top-end speed. It is capable of rotation in either the clockwise or counterclockwise direction by reversing the motor’s power wires. Comes with a standard three hole mounting face plate that is used by most high-powered Currie Technologies scooters. Center-to-center mounting hole distances are approximately 3-7/8″.

Electric scooter 5 wire hand throttle. “5 Pin” refers to the number of pins in the rectangular connector that inserts into the controller. Not compatible with either 4-wire or 6-wire hand throttles.

Wiring Details:
Red to Red
Black to Black (or Yellow)
Green (or Blue) to Green (or Blue or White)
Note: All scooter controllers require a switch, (joined to the “Lock” connector on the controller wires), to complete the electrical circuit.
