The battery cover for the Pride Pursuit XL (SC714) includes the lower box shroud, a colored upper box lid, plus the hardware to hold it together. The cover is available in your choice of Viper Blue, Candy Apple Red, or Mercury Silver. Think of the battery cover for the Pride Pursuit XL (SC714) as the “lid” that fits over the battery tray and protects the batteries from the elements. If your Pride Pursuit XL’s battery cover has been damaged or is missing, then this is the correct replacement part.
Note: These battery covers are serial number specific. Pride Mobility tells us that they are only compatible with Pursuit XL (SC714) scooters made after serial number SE813810001FV0
