Break out your screwdriver and mallet. This scratched & dented right motor and brake assembly for the Jazzy Select Elite and Pride TSS 300 electric power chairs got bumped and the brake lever got bent. If you have five minutes of time and don’t mind a little DIY repair work, this is a truly excellent deal on a new power chair motor. Remove the black rubber brake cover, pull off the brake lever, and use a wood or rubber mallet to straighten out the lever. It’s that simple.
This motor assembly includes the full motor, brake, and free wheel assemblies for the right side drive motor. All it needs is a few minutes of TLC and it’s ready to mount.
