Our brake caliper for the Hover-1 Alpha Folding Electric Scooter works on the rear wheel’s disc to ensure a smooth stop. Available in a black enamel finish, this replacement brake caliper is easy to install on the left side next to the rear wheel. The brake disc is sold separately.
Caliper/disc brakes are far more efficient than the drum & band brakes found on most smaller electric scooters. In addition, caliper brakes are less prone to overheating or damage during sudden stops.
