The Winterforce 2 is Firestone’s Studdable Winter/Snow tire designed for the owners of coupes, sedans and minivans looking for traditional wintertime traction on dry, wet and snow-covered roads.
Firestone Winterforce 2 radials feature a special cold-weather compound molded into a directional tread pattern. Deep circumferential grooves, wide lateral notches and open shoulder slots help channel slush and standing water away from the contact patch to aid hydroplaning resistance, and the high sipe density tread pattern provides thousands of biting edges for grip in snow and on ice. The tire’s internal structure includes twin steel belts on top of a polyester casing to combine strength with ride quality.
Winterforce 2 radials meet the industry’s severe snow service requirements and are branded with the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol.
Install Winterforce 2 tires in sets of four only.
Molded to accept optional TSMI #11 blue-colored metallic winter studs. (225/40R18, 225/55R18 and 235/50R18 are not studdable at this time.)
