The Verus Engineering Backing Plate kit is constructed from a stainless backing plate for durability and a properly formed and located dry carbon duct that directs air into the center of the rotor. This is a great start to a do it yourself brake cooling kit for the VA WRX/STI.
Increase endurance, life expectancy, resistance to brake fade, and resistance to boiling brake fluid by hooking up a 2.5″ silicone brake hose to these backing plates and running cool air through the rotors.
