The humble caster fork dust cover for Shoprider power chairs is an easily overlooked item, but one that helps ensure the longevity of the Shoprider’s rolling gear.
These black plastic discs are alternately referred to as caster caps, headtube caps, fork covers, etc. No matter the descriptive term, a caster fork dust cover protects the moving parts such as the caster assembly’s ball bearings and springs. Without them the dirt, dust, and moisture may eventually corrode the caster’s delicate internal components.
Shoprider uses this dust cover on a number of their power chair models that use a 1-3/8″ (inside) caster tube, so please refer to the Compatibility list prior to ordering.
