This is the canister/cylinder style air filter element for 150cc GY6 Hammerhead Off-Road® go-karts and it is an often overlooked component of your engine. An air filter prevents dust from being sucked into the carb, and that results in better operation and easier start-ups. This air filter element is perhaps the easiest of all engine parts to replace. In addition, our economical price means that you may as well keep one as a spare. You have to think of your air filter as cheap insurance for the health of your engine.
The ubiquitous 150cc GY6 engine is the industry standard that is found on tens of thousands, if not millions, of gas-powered motorsports vehicles and street-legal motor scooters. Among the models are several Hammerhead Off-Road® ‘karts such as the 150 SS, 150 GT, and GTS 150™ that use the 6.000.151 filter.
This cannister air filter replaces the Carter 5133021 and 513-3021 filters.
