Description
The brake cable for the GOTRAX Apex Pro & GXL V2 electric scooter is wrapped in a distinctive red 68-7/8″ sleeve. It uses a barrel end to connect to the brake lever and a straight swaged end that attaches to the caliper.
A notable feature of the brake system is how the cable runs from the lever to the brake. Unlike most electric scooters where the cable remains exposed down the handlebar and outside the battery tray, this cable passes into the handlebar stem below the cross-bar. There is a short external section around the bar’s folding mechanism so as not to let the cable get crimped. Then the cable passes into and through the battery tray.
