Description
This is a superlative Primo Spirit tread 8″x2″ (200×50) heavy duty foam-filled mobility tire with ribbed tread for use on mobility scooters and power chairs using two-piece wheels. The white urethane foam used in this tire is firmer and more robust that the average foam-filled tire, and it is designed to be used for riders of up to 400 lbs.
This tire can be used as a replacement on some, but not all, 200×50 pneumatic tires. The full bead to bead width measures 1-1/2″ across. On many rims that come standard with 200×50 pneumatic tires, the rim width will not accommodate this slightly wider foam-filled 200×50 mobility tire. Installation of longer screws may be necessary on your split rim assembly (screws not included).
As a final note, this tire cannot be used as a replacement on power chair co-molded 200×50 caster wheel assemblies. Co-molded caster wheel assemblies are molded together as one unit, and the 200×50 rubber tire is not removable. 200×50 co-molded caster wheel assemblies must be replaced as a unit.
