If you ever get tired of changing flat tires this may be the solution. The 8.5×20 shock absorber solid tire for Hiboy® S2 and S2R electric scooters uses a damping system made of a series of hollow rectangular chambers that ring the inside. Unlike the round holes of a honeycomb tire, these chambers cannot be seen with the tire mounted to the rim.
The issue with most traditional solid tires is that they can convey all of the bumps and vibrations of the road onto the scooter, increasing wear & tear on the scooter’s components and making for an uncomfortable ride. For short distances, this may not be much of a problem, but if you ride the scooter a lot on the hard city streets you will no doubt want some remedy to the constant jarring.
