The 24 volt Lithium-ion battery assembly for the Jazzy Passport power chair comes as one complete unit together with a convenient handle and battery charger port. This is an all-in-one portable battery box is essentially a self-contained module, The beauty of this battery assembly is that the whole unit simply slides into the rear of the frame beneath the seat until it clicks into place. That’s it; no wiring to wrestle with or screws to undo.
The Jazzy Passport’s battery is offered in two configurations; an airline-safe 10.4 capacity travel model, and a standard18 Ah Lithium-ion version. Both batteries are the same externally.
Today’s lithium technology has revolutionized batteries as lithium offers more range and power than traditional sealed lead acid (SLA) batteries. The airline-safe 10.4 Ah capacity model for instance delivers similar “oompf” as a traditional 18 Ah SLA battery.
