Description
The 25k ohm Speed potentiometer for the Shoprider Dasher 4, Start, and Start 8 mobility scooters is also known as the rabbit/turtle dial. Like a car’s accelerator pedal, the speed pot controls the maximum speed of the scooter. A faulty speed pot may lead to inconsistent throttling or motion, or no movement at all.
Note: We strongly recommend soldering the wiring for a proper connection. A patient mechanic with perfect eyesight might be able to thread the wires through the connector loops and crimp them securely, however we discourage this in lieu of proper soldering.
