Description
Our brake caliper for the MotoTec MT-FatBoy-500 electric scooter works on the front wheel’s disc to ensure a smooth stop. Available in a vivid ed enamel finish, this replacement brake caliper is easy to install next to the front wheel with the two mounting bolts which are included. The brake disc is sold separately.
Caliper/disc brakes are far more efficient than the drum & band brakes found on most smaller electric scooters. In addition, caliper brakes are less prone to overheating or damage during sudden stops.
